"RED"

RED, as in Retired Extremely Dangerous. I can make the initials mean something else but instead I'll just say the plot was mostly implausible.
Ah, but that's the beauty of movies, isn't it? Plus it was fun and highly entertaining and the time just flew by.
Bruce Willis leads a gang of a Who's Who in acting including Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Mary-Louise Parker and a short appearance by Richard Dreyfuss.
Willis looks way too young to be a bored, retired guy stuck in surburbia hell. He has a phone relationship with Parker-no, not a 1-900 type-and the way they meet in person sets a tone for the fun and silliness.
Freeman is steady and silky-smooth as usual and Malkovich brings crazy to a different level. When all four are together (with Mirren added just a bit later), it's really time to start blowing stuff up.
Another fun cameo was from Ernest Borgnine. Heck, I thought he was dead.
